CARING FOR YOUR SILK GARMENTS
Silk is a natural choice for beauty and comfort no matter where you live. Pure silk is cool and refreshing to the skin in hot weather and beautifully warming and comforting in winter.
JULIA KOO silks may be dry cleaned or hand washed with care. To ensure your silks maintain their color and texture please follow the care instructions below carefully.
Dry cleaning
Be sure to tell your drycleaner that your garment is 100% silk. Silk garments should not be dry cleaned in the same drum as rougher fabrics.
Hand washing
Use cool or tepid water and a small quantity of mild non alkali detergent such as Woolite, Ivory soap or shampoo. Do not soak the silk for too long as this may result in a color fade. Hang dry and press on reverse whilst damp.
• Never use bleach as this will take the color out of the fabric.
• Do not use harsh detergents as these can thin the fabric and lead to wear and tear.
Follow this advice and your silks will remain naturally soft and full of color for a lifetime.
